Our Song of the Week is the Greek-tragedy inspired ‘Orpheus and Eurydice’ from alt-rockers Avenoir.

The Leeds-based four-piece have come back sounding stronger than ever after some line-up changes, and their latest track produces four-minutes of winding alt-rock delivered with power and purpose.

Currently comprising of members; Tye Jozefowicz on the vocals, Jack Hendy on percussion, Rob Arkle on lead guitar and Lily Kilcoyne on the bass.

It’s an impressive return from the band, who enter a busy live calendar this Spring, including a show at Sheffield’s Record Junkee with Nana White Pepper on April 27th.
