Ones To Watch 2020: Ivory Wave

Making waves in the indie rock scene is Ivory Wave, and they make the shortlist in the Ones To Watch 2020 series.

The Birmingham five-piece encapsulate contagious energy and beautifully chaotic indie rock which later develops into sweaty stadium-sized live shows.

Ivory Wave has already established themselves as local heroes and recently releasing their debut EP ‘Dream Nights’ in November and the outlook for the band is pretty bright.

Their exuberant, party-starting mix of swaggering indie attitude continues to grab critical acclaim and music lovers just love dancefloor-filling beats and chaotic scenes wherever they go. More recently, their music video for ‘Young Blood’ got featured as Radio X Track of the Week and a This Feeling Big in 2020 artist too.

The songs speak of the experiences of youth across the country, but their gigs offer pure escapism with a sea of fans singing along as smoke-bombs amplify the hedonistic vibe. They are supporting The Sherlocks on their UK tour next month to take their high-octane tunes to the next level.
