The hotly tipped London musician Jade Bird is fast becoming one of Britain’s most exciting new voices. Having started playing at the age of 12 on her grandmother’s guitar, she has already gone on to make a name for herself nine years on.

Jade first toured with Brent Cobb in her first year releasing music. This was followed up with her debut EP ‘Something American’ which has amassed over 15 million streams. Her powerful voice and twisting lyrics including big themes of disillusionment, divorce, cheating, sorrow have ‘put her on the map’ as a modern British singer-songwriter.

2018 follow up ‘Lottery’ and her latest single ‘Love Has All Been Done Before’ are classic, contemporary, and a total breath of fresh air in the current musical landscape. Jade Bird is that rare, next-generation artist who has the mindset to unleash her musical might. This saw her bag airplay on BBC Radio 1 and Radio X who have rightly dubbed her as an artist for the future.

So what’s next for the 21-year-old? Well, we can certainly expect new music along the way. She also has a few European shows in February before heading out on Hozier’s huge tour across America as part of his Wasteland, Baby! tour. Bagging these big name tours sees Jade Bird heading in the right direction and 2019 is to see more of the same.
