“Step inside, it’s for your own good,” The Barratts tell us. It’s an invite to take in their latest single ‘The Garrison’, an invite which we’ve gladly accepted and returned with a Song Of The Week selection.

The band say of the song: “This song is a pulsing hymn to the rebel parties springing up all over the country when you remain in your sanctuary with the music and company of your choice. Who couldn’t love those nights? If you can’t beat ’em, revolt.”

It’s a wonderfully crafted piece from the Northampton five-piece, and one most definitely worthy of a spot on any indie-lovers playlist.
