The Scruff – ‘Let You Down (I Won’t)’ – MAM’s Song Of The Week

After a festival-filled few months, The Scruff are back with new single ‘Let You Down (I Won’t)’. The Bedford band have spent the summer playing Reading & Leeds, Isle of Wight, Standon Calling and more, and the new release marks their second single of 2018.

It’s another catchy indie-pop song from the four-piece, which again highlights the band’s ability to capture the relationships we experience, and the pressures we encounter in our lives. Lead singer Adam explains, “it’s also about looking after your mates through the dark times and helping them see that things will get better, and sometimes you go through moments where nothing is more important.”

With a debut album planned for 2019, the band will finish this year with a run of tour dates before returning to the studio.
