North West band Reclaim Vienna have dropped new single ‘Modern Times’, their third release of 2020 following on from ‘Cool With It’ and ‘Change The Echo’.

The Cheshire six-piece make 80’s nostalgia-inducing synth-driven indie and have enjoyed early support from BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio among others.

‘Modern Times’ is a catchy piece of electro indie-pop which takes a stab at the social-media driven society we live in.

Lyricist Danny Smith explained: “Modern Times was written in frustration & anger at certain elements in the world currently, particularly in England. It’s about people having opinions based on no evidence and worse, having social media to share them on. You can say something now and it doesn’t even have to be true. You have the right to your own opinion, but you don’t have the right to your own facts. They should remain the same.”
