MAM Song of the Week: Weekend Recovery – ‘Going Nowhere’

Leeds-based three-piece Weekend Recovery have dropped latest track ‘Going Nowhere’, the first single from forthcoming album ‘False Company’.

The band have already previously garnered mainstream support from the likes of NME, Radio X, Kerrang and more, and the buzz continues to build around the self-confessed ‘garage-grunge’ upstarts.

‘Going Nowhere’ is riff-driven garage rock at it’s best, and with catchy hooks aplenty, punchy drums, and an alluring vocal delivery.

The band cite the track as covering “themes of trust, back stabbing and questions of why we do the things we do”.

Weekend Recovery play a headline show at The Lending Room, Leeds this Saturday 30th November as the final leg of a UK tour which has seen them draw crowds all over the country.

Final tickets are available via Skiddle.
