As a bonus track following the release of July’s ‘Something’s Changing’ album, Lucy Rose has released the folksy, gentle sounding track ‘End Up Here’.
‘End Up Here’ is a characteristically guitar-led, vocally strong track from Lucy Rose. The single slots well into the Something’s Changing album, veering slightly away from the pop sound she ventured in to on the ‘Work It Out’ album.
‘End Up Here’ has notes of warmth vocally and from the minimalist instrumentation; the track is softly acoustic and lullaby-esque. Lucy Rose’s vocals take the forefront of the song, with a soothing tone to lull you to sleep, counteracting the narrative’s inability to do so. The track is longing and lovesick, with a hint of uncertainty and bittersweet that comes with love and indecision.
