LA-based Low Hum is gearing up for his debut LP in June with the release of new single ‘Strange Love’.
Known to his friends as Collin Desha, Low Hum’s fuzzed out ballads are at once aggressive psych jammers balanced with a range of vulnerability that comes crashing ashore.
‘Strange Bones’ is surf-rock with a touch of psychedelic pop and a hint of post-punk that gives the track a hypnotic concoction of swooping soundscapes and swirling grooves.
His debut LP, titled Room To Breathe, will be out on June 7th on Last Gang Records. You can expect to see some growling rock riffs and some slower and groovier beats like from the title track.
Pre-order the album now, which includes a “pretty sweet limited edition vinyl” here.
Low Hum will be playing a show on Monday, April 29th at The Echo in Los Angeles. Make sure you’re there!
