London trio Lounger create 90s grunge rock

London trio Lounger have released their third single ‘Contact Sports’ with 90s grunge rock influences.

The track is a tongue-in-cheek take on masculinity where men shouldn’t dream of the old days when ‘men were men’.

Featuring a glorious guitar solo at the end, Lounger takes influence from Talking Heads and Nirvana. Recorded four weeks after they formed, ‘Contact Sports captures the band’s energy and enthusiasm for playing music.

Whilst locked away in grotty rehearsal rooms, members Don (Guitar), Sheldon (Drums) and Tom (Bass/Vocals) have been polishing up their first EP which will feature five tracks.
