Latenight honeymoon

London hailing four-piece Latenight Honeymoon released their second single ‘For Heaven’s Sake’ and with it confirmed their place as a promising act of 2020.

Following their earlier release ‘Sunlight’, ‘For Heaven’s Sake’ consolidates a strong sound for the quartet – soaring vocals and a soft, yet striking soundscape embedded beneath them.

The track is a sprawling anthem with retro-undertones and shimmering, melodic vocals. It is a positive track, begging you to fall in love and listen to the band as the romance unfolds. Layering vocals, almost choral, add another dimension to the track and the catchy and dynamic lyrics become even more ingrained in our minds.

‘For Heaven’s Sake’ is polished and sleek, expertly produced by Mike Fraser – who has worked with Biffy Clyro and Franz Ferdinand, which shows the steps in which Latenight Honeymoon are soon to follow.

The track was accompanied by a set of impressive visual assets – combining collage and retro elements to create a brand that perfectly aligns with their previously released music. Making the most of the Covid-19 lockdown, they produced a music video for the track with their individual performances, laced together with impressive post-production.
