Melodic indie rockers The Royston Club are in the ICM Ones To Watch 2021 series as they continue to impress as they take their sound to the next level.
After already receiving support early on from Radio X and This Feeling, the Wrexham quartet have a bold rock foundation with layers of joyous riffs, powerful vocals and a cracking drum beat.
They self-released their first three singles which amassed over 100,000 streams and headed to Parr Street Studios to record their debut EP ‘This State I’m In’.
The Royston Club featured in the ICM Sounds of 2020 Playlist for their latest single ‘Mrs Narcisistic’ and they were chosen as our Song of the Day by Modern Age Music back in March 2020.
Consisting of Tom Faithfull (lead vocals and rhythm guitar), Ben Matthias (lead guitar and lead song writer), Dave Tute (bass) and Sam Jones (drums), the band show great determination to get to the top. Their catchy tracks filled to the brim with snappy indie guitar and hooky vocals are capturing indie rock n roll fans in the dozens and it’s only a matter of time until The Royston Club name takes off.
If all goes to plan, the band will head out on their debut headline tour for Spring 2021, with most shows already sold out.
