Oxford indie rock band The Mezz burst onto the scene last year with an eclectic array of funky melodies and electric sounds you don’t want to be missing out on.
The quartet, comprised of Ben Comley (Vocals/Guitar), Dan Ashby (Guitar), George Maclean (Bass) and Charlie Emmons (Drums), has hit the ground running with their four singles already under their belts.
Poised for more thrilling riffs, captivating drums and striking vocals, The Mezz have the capability of producing fiery indie bangers in the bag and they also know how to get the buzz going around a live show – they’re the complete package.
Singles ‘Caffeine’ and debut single ‘California’ has tinges of The 1975 in the poppy beats and High Tyde-like riffs to add that gritty rock attitude. All of the band’s songs are summery at heart and are extremely catchy.
The Mezz seemed to slip under the radar in 2020 despite having the catalogue of tracks that could quite easily fill stadiums in the future. An exciting journey is ahead for these young lads and we can’t wait to hear more.
