ICM Artist Spotlight: The C33s

the c33s

For our Artist Spotlight this week, we head to Manchester where punk rockers The C33s produce one hell of a racket, but in a good way.

Rising through the scene, the trio have been attracting attention to their 70s infused punk and surf and garage rock sounds make them a distinctive bunch. Comprised of Judy Jones (drums, vocals), Cav Green (guitar, vocals) and Ste Phillips (bass) The C33s are taking their meaningful authentic garage punk to the next level.

The latest single ‘Big Winner’ was released last month, the second single this year since the release of their debut EP 48 Hours at Neon Palms in July 2018. Working hard and attracting attention, the swampy trio recorded with Gavin Monaghan for the second time at his Magic Garden Studios to create a single that packs a punch.

The C33s music has already had an astounding effect playing alongside Cabbage and have signed with These Bloody Thieves Records and world-renowned X-Ray Touring. Their April debut single, ‘Manic Depression’, earned amazing reactions and wide radio play including BBC Radio 1 (Huw Stephens), BBC Radio 6 (Chris Hawkins), XS Manchester (Mike Joyce) and Amazing Radio (Jim Gellatly).

To round off the year, the band are touring with Catholic Action in October on their UK tour (check it below) but also keep an eye on their social media for more dates and new releases.
