Holler hit you with blistering guitars and catchy indie pop

New kids on the block Holler hit you with a wall of catchy indie pop and blistering guitar tones to get anyone in the mood for a boogie.

The Brighton four-piece are straight out of music institute Bimm Brighton where Felix Cleeve (Backing Vocals, Electric Guitar), Lucas Leitch (Lead Vocals, Electric Guitar), Billy Houghton (Drums) and Jarvis Orchard (Bass Guitar) first started jamming together.

Having connected on Facebook during lockdown, the band were able to start rehearsing in early 2021 and it’s not taken long for Holler to put all their ducks in a row. New song ‘Tell Me (What I Want To Hear)’ is a wonderful catchy number with energetic guitars and soothing youthful vocals. This group mean business and have a mature sound.

The band said: “‘Tell Me (What I Want To Hear)’ stems from a long and bumpy relationship between two teenagers. The song was written just after a break-up but was set from the perspective of being in the relationship but knowing that it won’t work out and that things just aren’t going smoothly, no matter how hard you try and how many lies you tell. We wanted the song to be meaningful and show a powerful message whilst having a catchy and infectious chorus.”

‘Tell Me’ is the third single released so far from the band, following impressive tracks ‘See Straight Through’ and ‘For The Night’. Holler’s energy and enthusiasm shines through on their music which is already hitting such a high standard; there’s plenty more in the locker from this up and coming band.
