Guildford alt rockers Laulia release their debut single

Laulia is an alt rock band hailing from Guildford infusing melodic, folk inspired vocals with grunge-driven chords.

The quartet has just dropped their debut single ‘Burning Out’, a track which has gritty guitar riffs matched by Lauren’s Wolf Alice-esque vocals packing a powerful punch.

Solo singer Lauren started the band when she met lead guitarist Ollie in a local music shop, where the pair bonded over their music tastes. Now with Kurt (Drums) and Harry (Bass), their fusions and influences have become the creative fuel behind Laulia.

The band also throw in B-side ‘Machines’ which shows a completely different side to their sound. Toning back the madness and fisty grunge-rock. Laulia also has a soft side.

The single has had huge amounts of praise from BBC Introducing and they have a hometown show coming up in May. The band will also play Camden Rocks Festival in June.
