Hailing from Brighton, Fickle Friends have been on our radar for a while since their ‘Velvet’ EP in 2015. Their unique indie pop sound has brought members Natti, Sam, Harry, Chris and Wilson a very strong platform to progress over the coming months.
New single ‘Brooklyn’ does just that. The uplifting and groovy track that drills itself into your brain with an undeniable chorus and whip-smart lyrics. It’s just filled with sweet pop beats which turns the song into a great, danceable indie pop.
When talking about the track Natti says; “The whole song is metaphorical and kind of talks about anxiety as someone you don’t understand or recognise.
“It’s probably the song that means the most to me because 1 year on I look back at how panicked I was by it all and now, although it’s something that affects me most days, I feel like I’ve got more of a handle on what’s going on in my head.”
