The youngsters redefining the rules on age.
Sennen Ludman, Joseph Schofield, Cormac Connolly and Connor Passey have created what is vastly being known as Sounds Like A Storm. A 4-piece indie-rock outfit, claiming the Leeds live circuit as their own whilst also creating remarkably explosive sounds.
Back in 2016 we managed to speak to Sounds Like a Storm, they stated that “each one of the band members would have always wanted to be in a band at some point.”.
With it being a true calling, the sky is the limit for Sounds Like A Storm. The sheer passion is notable in their live performances. They have previously supported the likes of King No-One and Glass Caves.
When they performed for the busking Glass Caves, they had the perfect entrance to their set that set up the whole evening ahead. Drummer, bassist, guitarist and lastly lead vocalist all joining together to create a deep and ruggedly-edged sound bellowing through Belgrave.
The true live genius behind this band is their knowledge of stage presence and attitude towards a crowd.
Friday will mark the release of debut single, ‘Emission’. With mind bending guitar hooks and crashing drums, ‘Emission’ keeps a steady pace throughout, but still creates such a huge sound! The lyrics within the track spark insight and creativity, yet a true understanding which at their age is astounding.
