In just under two week’s time, it’ll be your best opportunity to see 20 of the best up and coming indie artists on the south coast at Golden Touch Festival.

The two-stage all-dayer at Portsmouth’s Wedgewood Rooms including Crystal Tides, Sarpa Salpa and Bang Bang Romeo.

Also on this year’s lineup include some local talent like Bash! Who recently released their latest sonic indie pop single ‘So Brokenhearted’. Pioneers shared their B-side EP ‘The Leftovers’ back in May and indie surf band Dutch Criminal Record are set to share new EP ‘It’s Gonna Be Okay’ this Friday (August 27th).

On Monday evening, the festival announced their final surprise; Tom Lumley & The Brave Liaison would be heading to the festival on September 4th.

With the Cambridgeshire band expected to release their debut album, Everything’s Affected on October 22nd so get ready to be rowdy with some high-octane indie rock anthems.

The day is going to be action-packed with some brilliant indie artists we absolutely love, and when tickets are only £12 it’s a no brainer!? Plus you can enjoy all 20 artists as there will be no set clashes – it’s what we love to see!

There are limited tickets remaining. Head to the Wedgewood Room website here to avoid disappointment.

Camens return with indie rock belter ‘Poltergeist’

Back when times were much simpler, indie rockers Camens were sneaking into festivals and performing pop-up gigs wherever they could. Now, two years later, they’re back with their latest single ‘Poltergeist’.  The Stoke-on-Trent outfit are leaving behind the button bright indie-pop of their formative years in favour of something altogether darker, more mature and certainly more frenetic. As a result, ‘Poltergeist’ is a razor-sharp indie rock number suggests the gap between releases hasn’t been spent in vain. Following up on 2020’s ‘Leave Me In Pieces, the band are shifting in a new direction with their own brand of idiosyncratic indie.
