Discover gritty surf rock from four-piece French Alps Tiger

South Wales quartet French Alps Tiger share their debut single ‘Tell A Lie’.

The surf-punk inspired band bring big pop hooks and gritty guitar rock to the table whilst mixing fun energetic rhythms with raw melodies, wavey guitars and lyrics about your mum.

The debut single ‘Tell A Lie’ is about wanting to break up with someone but you really like their parents.

Named after the elusive tiger found only in the French Alps of South Wales, Russ, Duffy, Jess and Durke like writing music that reminds them of being kids and playing shows that remind you too.

Taking influence from likes of Wavves and FIDLAR, ‘Tell A Lie’ was recorded at a friend’s garage studio, mixed by Steffan Pringle (Estrons, Adwaith, Himalayas) and mastered by Charlie Francis (Future Of The Left, Estrons, Carw).
