Electronic garage rockers Desert Dusk emerge with their new single ‘Y’ with a combination of electronic rock.

Formed after several bands split, Desert Dusk rose from those ashes and are now comprised of David Drew (Vocals, guitars), Stuart Barker (Synths, guitars, electronics), Sergio Rubio (Bass, keyboards) and Adam Jacobs (Drums, samples).

Known for producing very riff heavy rock, the London-based band have given ‘Y’ a four to the floor, a dance-based approach which entices more minimal lyrics than usual.

Putting their own unique blend to the garage rock roots, Desert Dusk have shared a track that’s captivating; making you inclined to dance. With a verse that might be even catchier than the chorus, the four-piece are filled to the brim with exhilarating melodies.

The song has exceptional energy that makes you want to move to the beat. Their distinctive mixture of pop drums and rock riffs work perfectly with Drew’s vocals to give you the energetic track you have been looking for.

Taking to the likes of QOTSA, Led Zeppelin, Radiohead, and Liars (to name a few), Desert Disks break the genre rule book.

‘Y’ is part of a forthcoming EP with two more tracks to follow this year. Have a listen to the single below and share your thoughts with us by leaving an ICM Star Rating out of 10!
