Deco

Opening with the most vibrant and upbeat intro we’ve heard in a long time, Deco finally get to release their highly anticipated single ‘Dreamer’ which is blessing our ears with a fresh and funky sound.

Having had a packed-out summer playing huge festivals such as the main stage at Truck Festival and Y Not, ICM caught up with Deco ahead of 110 Above Festival, where the band were optimistic for the ‘80’s bangers, singalong moments and old Deco tunes’ that lie ahead. The duo delivered and performed not only their classic old tunes but also amazed the crowd with a live performance of ‘Dreamer’.

The track is a whirlwind of catchy lyrics, infectious riffs and an endlessly playable sound in less than three minutes. The track hooks your attention from the very start and keeps it throughout the song. Lead singer Max Kendall’s vocals perfectly compliment the 80’s pop-vibe of the track.  It has the ability to seduce you into the most feel-good mood, it is literally impossible to not want to dance to this song.

The track is the third single of the year with ‘Rain’ and ‘Don’t Waste Your Time’ being released earlier on. The enticing track is a worthy third instalment for the duo and establishes their position as a promising player in Emerging British Indie-Pop’s game.
