Alt rock power trio Dakota Avenue are having a blast in 2019 packing out venues and releasing three singles.

Following up on ‘The Island’, which premiered on ICM in May, the Manchester-based band release heir punchiest number to date, ‘Temptress’.

Recorded in Stoke-on-Trent with producer Andy Gannon (Fears Chella), this is a dynamic, rocky offering expressing the dangers of self-destructive behaviour.

Aggressive from the get-go, ‘Temptress’ has a sleek and ethereal quality which boasts the band’s capability to create infectious, yet powerfully robust alt rock.

Dakota Avenue frontman, J Greenhalgh-Lee, said of the track: “We’re often complimented on how ‘big’ we sound for a three piece, which is something we’re incredibly passionate about – ‘big’, isn’t loud, ‘big’ is dynamic!”

Good

  • Bold riffs

Bad

  • Refine vocals
