Cottons offer addictive 80s inspired alt pop

Indie pop four-piece Cottons eloquently smash together high energy alt pop and 80s synth to create an addictive concoction. 

Back with new single ‘Second Hand Living Room’, the Manchester-based outfit offer waves of high energy alt pop with melodies and hooks to keep you grooving on the dancefloor similar to American outfit Wallows

Comprising of Charles up front, Rick (bassist/vocalist), Jasper (guitarist/vocalist) and drummer Jack, the alt pop group formed while all its members – dotted around the UK – after two of them met at a university open mic in their first year, it turned out the other two were also studying music at the same place, and thus forming Cottons.

The band, now onto their sixth single, follow up on last year’s single ‘Laguna’ – a groovy pop number drenched in sunny indie vibes for days, the track captures that moment going to your favourite holiday destination with someone you love. 

Cottons will be playing a hometown show at 33 Oldham Street on the 25th May with Barstaff and Hollowbody hosted by This Feeling. Get your tickets here.
