Cherry Slide shares his second single ‘Eyes Like a Blur’ as the New York musician releases his self-titled debut album.

The project is by Dale Humphries, an Englishman living and recording in the ‘Big Apple’, New York City.

‘Eyes Like a Blur’ is taken from ‘Cherry Slide’, which was released Agust 10, is a pure indie-pop jam. The carefree drumming and growling guitars are somewhat similar to Humphries first release, ‘Red Alexander‘, but with more conviction and more attitude.

The track is packed full with instruments, yet the track comes across relaxing and chilled out, which is also quite apparent across the whole album.

The debut album is out now via Brooklyn-based label Being Records.

You can find Cherry Slide on Facebook.

Good

  • Lovely instrumentals
  • Gritty guitars

Bad

  • Sounds the same to other tracks
