charleyCityy creates upbeat indie rock and hyperpop

Creating music that evokes emotions and passion, alternative pop musician charlieCityy releases new single ‘california fever’.

Hailing from Birmingham, charliecityy aka Charlie Cooper takes you on a musical journey – close your eyes and get whisked away to the sunny shores on the West Coast. The upbeat indie rock track features an infectious chorus and profound lyrics that get stuck in your head. Since listening to the song, we’ve had it on repeat in the office.

charlieCityy said: “I wanted to make an upbeat song with an indie guitar and a crazy chorus. The song speaks for itself with where I’d like to live in the future ‘I’m outside of the coast, got that California fever.’

“The song is about a lot of things. Relationships, running from problems at a young age. Trying to find love nowadays is hard. It’s mostly a fun song with fun lyrics!”

‘california fever’ is the latest single from the talented musician as he’s already released two albums, 1 EP and 7 singles. It’s an impressive feat for such a young artist, I do believe this guy will go places – check out more of Charlie’s work on Instagram @charliecityy.

The singer-songwriter and his band really got the crowd psyched and roaring together with his explosive rock and pop tracks. The crowd appeared to be hooked from the get-go as Beetlestone’s energy on stage was charismatic, it was impressive he managed to keep it up for the whole set.
