Askies produce distinctly fuzzy and groovy indie rock

Askies

Leeds quartet Askies have released their debut single ‘Mirror’ today, August 24, as they share their breezy and fuzzy indie-rock.

The band formed in 2017 and have already set Leeds alight with explosive live shows at Headrow House and The Wardrobe. To do this only within the first few months of your gigging career is something to keep an eye on.

Askies distinct sounds of heavy guitar riffs and groovy verses are bound to make anyone move their feet. The track is a slow indie-rock burner but with distinct vocals, they have made this track their own.

Comprised of Ben Spruce, Nathan Apps, Josh Steptoe and George Harris, Askies have created a small following in and around Leeds giving the guys or in fact any band a big morale boost.

Next Friday (August 31) you can see their live set in the flesh as they support Anna Burch at Hyde Park Book Club in Leeds. Tickets are available here www.lunatickets.co.uk.
