APRE release pulsating single ‘No Sympathy’

Indie pop kings APRE are back with pulsating new single ‘No Sympathy’ alongside a wonderfully put-together tongue-in-cheek music video.

Written by frontman Charlie Brown in his grandmother’s front room, ‘No Sympathy’ is about deciding to leave a difficult relationship during a period of dealing with his own struggles.

Evolving into a song with slick textured dance beats over the course of an evening with fellow band member Louis, the single puts APRE in a new era of their sound.

As they prepare to release their debut album later this year, the band have grown and matured immensely over the six years of their existence. There’s a diverse collection of songs (including ‘Is This The Real World?’ and ‘Dancing On The Moon’) waiting to grace fans’ ears and they will not be disappointed.

Alongside the single, the music video features Charlie as a fisherman who just can’t seem to catch any fish, playfully aligning with the song’s themes. It adds a comedic twist and symbolises the struggle and persistence detailed in the song.
