Irish duo All Tvvins (aka Conor Adams and Lar Kaye) continue to build anticipation for their second album ‘Just to Exist’ with the release of their latest single ‘Infinite Swim’.

By dropping monthly electro-synth earworms, All Tvvins again push the boundaries of their sound with the release of their new track, the first official downloadable single taken from forthcoming LP. It’s a heady cocktail of taut, muscular funk which touches upon both TV on the Radio and Chic with a searing, Prince-style solo and a typically anthemic All Tvvins hook.

There’s also, explains Kaye, “a definitely salute to Talking Heads” and a strong and focal falsetto from Adams who expands:  “I normally only use it for backing vocals where it’s buried, so it was nice to get it up front and centre in the chorus.”

‘Infinite Swim’ was produced by All Tvvins friend and collaborator James Vincent McMorrow. Their second album ‘Just to Exist’ from which it is taken follows early 2019.

Good

  • Groovy beat
  • Anthemic

Bad

  • The band sound like they are moving away from the indie genre

Summary

It’s a heady cocktail of taut, muscular funk which touches upon both TV on the Radio and Chic with a searing, Prince-style solo and a typically anthemic All Tvvins hook.
