Bedroom pop artist Ben Hobbs releases new single ‘Own Arms’ as he tries to capture a fast-paced punk idea.

The multi-instrumentalist and producer fuses indie pop with 70s and 80s nostalgia follows up on the well-received ‘How We Care’ which dwells in a gracious heartfelt ballad.

This new edge to the singer-songwriters bow provides evidence that he’s capable of just about anything.

Exploding with punchy electric melodies and flavourful sonic synths, new playful number ‘Own Arms’ explores the act of saying farewell to the things that may be holding someone back and improving oneself to feel free again.

Discussing the project, Ben says: “I wanted to capture this fast-paced punk idea, circling around on three chords and create something with loads of energy.

“It started out a lot more electronic with the production, but we decided that to really make it work everything had to be live and real.”

Ben continues to build a strong following ever since we first discovered him in 2016 with ‘Sweet Enough’. As the London artist only grows bigger, so does his musical ability for world-class anthems.

He is a familiar face on the live circuit and one of his biggest achievements in his career was supporting Alex Clare in Germany and showcasing at Swedish festival ‘Where’s The Music.’
