The Manatees share Guilty Pleasure

Southampton’s rising indie stars The Manatees are back with new single ‘Guilty Pleasure’ which brings out the bands softer and loveable side of their music.

The quartet have released a string of singles in the past six months and their rampant rock tracks are picking up serious radio play.

Working with Spring King’s frontman/producer Tarek Musa on energetic ‘Headstrong’ and rhythmic bliss of ‘Tongue Tied’, The Manatees have crafted their sound to perfection.

‘Guilty Pleasure’ was originally released as part of a Distiller TV session in January 2019 gaining nearly 40,000 views and becoming a favourite of the bands growing fanbase.

Due to not being able to record in a studio for the foreseeable future, the band have self-recorded the track in isolation to offer some positivity in a time which it has never been more needed.

“The track is about a relationship in where you expect it to be a brief fling, but the feelings grow into something you can’t ignore and have to pursue properly,” said the band.
