False Heads

False Heads have dropped their debut LP, well and truly blowing the current state of affairs to the back burner for 40 minutes of pumped-up, riff-fuelled post-punk.

The East London three-piece have been steadily building a reputation as one of the must-see new bands on the UK circuit in the past 24 months.

Noted for their adrenaline inducing live performances, the band have also produced a catalogue of powerhouse recordings which has culminated in the debut album, out now on Lovers Music.

‘It’s All There But You’re Dreaming’ is full start-to-finish with energy, passion and a gritty punk spirit which runs through the 12 tracks of riff-heavy, psych-tinged punk rock.

This is showcased in track four, ‘Twenty Nothing’, which opened the bands 2017 ‘Gutter Press’ EP, and after a fresh mix lands a place on album. The track captures the band’s sound with fuzzed-out guitar riffs, driving drums and a piercing punk vocal from frontman Luke Griffiths.
