Cavalcade return with new single 'Ultraviolet'

East London quartet Cavalcade is back with their new rock ‘n roll enthused single ‘Ultraviolet’.

The alt-indie rock outfit is now onto their fourth single as their name becomes more prominent on the indie scene. ‘Ultraviolet’ follows the classic Cavalcade sound as lead vocalist Connor Duggan bellows lyrics over the driven guitar riffs and energetic drums.

Describing their single, Connor explains; “Ultraviolet questions what makes us so different. Increasingly we find ourselves in a world of opposition and polarising views – the Infrared and Ultraviolet represent two extremities of the visible spectrum and the song is a call for us to unite underneath the lights.

“At its core, the song is an in your face interpretation of a journey of the mind and fraught personal relationships – At the end of that spiral are two forces that dance with one another forever.”

As the second single to be released under These Bloody Thieves Records, Cavalcade is already packing venues inside the capital with their electric live shows, they have proved that the Cavalcade journey is one to watch. Alongside Connor is Jack Campbell (Lead Guitar/Backing Vocals) Tom Nunn (Bass) and Steve Norris (Drums).

On the horizon the quartet has two London shows; the first at Dublin Castle in Camden on March 12th and Brixton Jamm on April 11th. In the meantime, listen and rate the track out of 10.
