Kid Bloom returns with pulsating single ‘Like I Never Left’

Los Angeles native Kid Bloom is back once again with the new glorious synth-pop infused single ‘Like I Never Left’.

The new track comes as Lennon Kloser signs to Position Music and reveals that it is the first one off the forthcoming second album.

It’s an exciting time for the singer, songwriter/producer, and multi-instrumentalist who follows up on a succession of releases including previous single ‘Control’.

Drenched in sharp 80s synths and instrumentals, ‘Like I Never Left’ shows a new side to Kloser whilst still holding close to his pop roots. The track is reminiscent of Tame Impala and The Neighbourhood.

“‘Like I Never Left’ is about breaking out of emotional patterns that can be detrimental such as doubt, paranoia or anxiety,” explains Kid Bloom. The song’s shimmering style is reminiscent of those like Tame Impala and The Neighbourhood as Kloser’s crafty psychedelic touch adds an extra element of unique craftwork.

Last year, Kid Bloom honed a sonic palette on his 2020 EP Blood Sugar which helped to further put his name firmly on the map. Since establishing his own unique musical domain with neon production, hip-hop beat-work, and psychedelic guitar emissions, his revolving confessional lyrics flow with unfiltered honesty.

With the sophomore album teased, get prepared for more later next year. Watch the lyric video/visualiser for the single here.
