London outfit RAMES are getting prepared for the summer months with their incredible new single ‘Eleanor Street’.
Returning with their latest slice of sun-kissed indie pop since ‘Won’t Be Long’, the four-piece compact their bright and breezy guitars, melodic swagger and playful drums in just under three minutes.
‘Eleanor Street’ is the perfect accompaniment to those first tentative touches of summer we’re feeling.
Described by the band simply as being “about having a laugh with your mates and having a good time”, it’s timing couldn’t be better. As the UK seemingly begins to head towards a degree of normality, and pubs begin to open back again, you could do much worse than sticking on ‘Eleanor Street’ and having a few pints with mates in a beer garden.
To coincide with last month’s release, RAMES have shared a music video to match the song’s aesthetics. Directed and produced by Henry Croston, who also worked on the last video, it captures the band messing around with paint and silly string without a care in the world.

RAMES have been steadily building up a solid reputation since their formation in 2019, with the band receiving support from BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio. Keep an eye out for their youthful and jangly sound because there’s plenty more coming.
