With 2016 over, we look ahead to what musical talent 2017 can offer, and with the masses of acts out there in the industry there is plenty for us to get excited about. Throughout January, ICM will be highlighting one new band each day and showing just why they should be on your music radar. Our 28th band is Anteros.
Anteros have always stunned us after we first saw them live supporting High Tyde at The Sugarmill. We then managed to see them during the festival circuit at the Iconic Reading Festival.
Later in the year we drove down to Guildhall in Gloucester for Underground festival where Anteros performed a very intimate gig, and more recently we watched them warm up the crowd for Sundara Karma and Two Door Cinema Club at Manchester’s O2 Apollo.
Not only did they just support those two incredible bands, lead singer, Laura, managed to bag herself the opportunity to perform on stage with the the incredible ‘This Is The Life’ outfit.
Anteros have been releasing music over the past year, a couple of ICM favourites being, ‘Breakfast’ and self-entitled, ‘Anteros’.
With hope, Anteros will continue to create and release music through 2017 and will tackle the festival season head up making sure that Anteros becomes a household name!
We will be announcing a new band every day throughout the entirety of January and the ICM long list will be announced on February 1st.
