The Japanese House shares new single ‘Somebody You Found’

Japanese House

Thinking that this summer isn’t that particularly great? Fear not. The Japanese House’s Amber Bain will get you in the mood for a very opulent summer.

The talented artist is readying the release of her forthcoming EP titled Saw You In A Dream, which is out on June 27th via Dirty Hit. So far we’ve heard the swoon-worthy title-track, and now she’s shared her poetic brand new single ‘Somebody You Found.’ This release came shortly after an impressive headline UK and European tour and sets the tone for what will surely be a glorious festival season this summer of 2017.

The rising of Bain over the past few years has been remarkable. From her humble vocals as a bright and ambitious teenager to a jetsetting cross-genre powerhouse, her growth as both a touring musician and as a producer has been instrumental in continuing her track record of highly original and challenging vocals and lyrics.

Frequent collaboration between The Japanese House and label-mate George Daniel of The 1975 is certainly paying off, with the single furthering towards a more widescreen and divine sound. The song is incredibly calming, showing off her vocals amazingly, with a haunting vibe in combination with the lyrics.

Amber Bain has a number of festival appearances in the diary for the coming months, including Blissfields, Latitude, Parklife, Leopalooza, and Reading and Leeds.
