The Brookes: Constellations of You – MAM Song of the Week

The Brookes

The Brookes have dropped mesmerising new single ‘Constellations of You’, signalling a period of transformation for the band.

The track is a change of pace for the Grimsby four-piece, who have focused on a fast-paced punk rock sound with previous releases. ‘Constellations of You’ is a much more stripped back offering, and adds an intriguing edge to what listeners have heard previously.

The single, recorded at Magic Garden Recording Studios, is a winding story told via the medium of frontman Benjamin Keal’s captivating vocal. Keal says “it has been an interesting transformation to solidify our new persona”.

“We really wanted to capture our cinematic stories and scenarist conceptions through the ears of our listeners.

It took us on a journey with many of our most influential songwriters and their predecessors, to truly capture what we wanted to achieve. We hope that you listen with an open mind and come to love this song as much as we do.”

The Brookes play three more dates in support of their release:
