Sophie and The Giants – Ones To Watch 2019

Sophie and the Giants

Sophie and The Giants are the self proclaimed practitioners of forward-looking, left-leaning emotional pop. With their adolescent fresh, raw fusion of the band’s collective influences — which range from Siouxsie and Debbie Harry to Radiohead and Jamie T, the college formed band in the spring of 2017. Moving to their adopted hometown of Sheffield shortly afterwards, Sophie and the band have been taking their intense, life-affirming and rapidly expanding set of songs on tour with the likes of Tom Grennan, Yonaka and Reverend and The Makers.

Pops latest front in all of her adolescent glory is truly the much needed answer to some of life’s hardest questions and scenarios. Whether that be identifying toxic relationships, bullying, mental health and the hardship of teenage troubles with your parents. It’s raw, frank and incredibly relatable. The band currently have no live dates available. However there are rumours that a debut album is on the way as the band prepare for what could easily be a very busy summer of festivals.
