Only Shadows – Ones To Watch 2019

Only Shadows

Only Shadows turned their luck around in 2017 by letting their inner beast out with some anthemic rock songs.

With help from Twin Atlantic producer, Bruce Rintoul, the band produced a stream of singles that were bigger and better. Clearly going down the Twin Atlantic and You Me At Six road, Only Shadows have matured into a well-oiled machine.

Stand out tracks ‘Stay Close To Me‘ and ‘Escape‘ is a tasteful reminder of gritty, high-octane indie rock that so many of us adore. The band have grown in strength to such an extent they packed out every night on their autumn UK tour.

The band’s spicey pop undertones, feisty vocals and electrifying guitar riffs are a shock full of electric energy. With a few more thrilling rock single to come, this sound is jumping out of the shadows. The commanding vocals, huge hooks and danceable cut will stay with you for a while after the song’s stopped, you’ll be humming this one for days.

Latest single ‘Cold Shoulder’ is yet another solid track, it’s a real testament to what the Nuneaton quartet can produce.

Only Shadows have a new UK tour on the horizon which the originally delayed due to their album recording. All tickets remain valid for new dates -check them out below.
