Ones To Watch 2020: False Heads

Rock powerhouses False Heads are the third band to be announced as ICM’s Ones To Watch 2020.

The London band have been around since 2015 and have gained a cult following who love their combination of traditional punk attitudes and modern guitar rock.

Whilst superstar Iggy Pop branded them as “young, talented and going places,” and BBC’s Huw Stephens referred to them as “an incredible racket”, False Heads are currently gearing up for their imminent debut album release.

The band has certainly raised the bar for all punk to come with lead single ‘Fall Around’ and ‘Slease‘ under their belts last year, the punk rockers are demonstrating their incredible ability to mash up gnarly, howling guitar work with delicate vocal harmonies.

This year promises yet more punk-fuelled attitudes and plenty of live shows; with their first of 2020 already announced. They are at The Victoria Dalston, London, alongside Broken Hands and Burning House on February 13th. Tickets are here.
