Ones To Watch 2020: Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard

Buzzard

Producing exhilarating fuzz-filled rock, Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard are on the ICM Ones To Watch 2020 list who look set for another promising year.

The Cardiff-based quartet busted down the door in 2018 with the release of ‘Double Denim Hop’ but really hit the ground running with ‘Late Night City’ and ‘Love Forever’ last year.

Reinventing rock for the modern age, Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard are now well-known for exhilarating, fuzz-filled indie rock with inspiration from 70s greats such as T. Rex and Thin Lizzy; the band add an extra element of scrappy swagger to the fold.

Already under the eagle eye of NME, This Feeling and Fred Perry Subculture, the four-piece have a support slot with rock giants Twin Peaks at Electric Brixton in February, they’ve already been announced for a few festivals too.

2019 was an incredible year for Tom Rees, Zac White, Ed Rees and Ethan Hurst; they spent weeks on the road gigging across the world and their two single releases put the band on the map. As the new year has only just begun we expect more of the same to come.
