Eliza and the Bear are back with their punchy new track “Hell” following the success of “Higher” back in June. After recently celebrating the bands sixth anniversary, the band have been hinting at a new chapter “with all this writing”, suggesting exciting times are ahead for their fans. The band have just announced the “I’d Rather Go To Hell” tour commencing in March, featuring six dates which go on sale this Monday.

Infused with 80’s disco-pop vibes, “Hell” is softly introduced with delicate piano notes before picking up into a lively tune with animated yet dynamic vocals. Catchy hooks and an upbeat rhythm makes this track an intoxicating change from the band’s usual style, and I believe it’s one of the most energetic songs around.

After rising to success with songs such as “Friends” and “It Gets Cold”, this four-piece is going from strength to strength with almost 100,000 monthly listeners on Spotify alone. Their fun personalities shine through their sets making them, in my opinion, one of the best live performers around; it is more than worthwhile heading down to their short tour early next year.
