2017 Ones To Watch #15 – Black Honey

Black Honey

With 2016 over, we look ahead to what musical talent 2017 can offer, and with the masses of acts out there in the industry there is plenty for us to get excited about. Throughout January, ICM will be highlighting one new band each day and showing just why they should be on your music radar. Our 15th band is Black Honey.

Black Honey have been causing earthquakes throughout 2016; releasing their debut EP, ‘Headspin’ and single ‘Hello Today’ which have reached the millions for Spotify plays. Not only have they released some stellar music but have supported the indie-rock giants, Catfish and the Bottlemen and Punk rock giants, Slaves. Black Honey bring live performances to a new level, they have become renowned for their stage presence and intensity and even perform with an inflatable flamingo. Black Honey produce a fresh, raucous style of rock which has influences from the 60s and Grunge Rock.

In March, Black Honey are going on a UK headline tour around the countries smaller venues but these shows will definitely be massive and not to be missed. You can also expect their debut LP later this year and if its anything like their EP, it will be one of the best debut albums this year.

We will be announcing a new band every day throughout the entirety of January and the ICM long list will be announced on February 1st.
