YVES

Swindon trio YVES made 2018 their own, bringing high-octane rock ‘n’ roll to people up and down the country.

Two UK tours and big festival appearances at the Isle Of White, 2Q, YNOT and Hit The North has cemented the band’s style of arena-sized rock tunes in 2018. To them wrap things off with a big hometown show at The Victoria, the trio is expected to blow this year out the water.

The band had released singles Only One and You Wanna Know in 2017, but decided to steer away from their original sound to produce something darker and heavier for their fans. Swinging to the likes of Foo Fighters, Queens Of The Stone Age and Royal Blood.

Frontman Harry Roke, drummer Finn Wilkinson and bassist Mitchell Dodson, formed in 2016 and have released two brand new singles, ‘Hell From Your Hello’ and ‘Where Do We Go From Here?’. Released in the summer and early last year, YVES have matured their sound into a darker, more intense approach. Roke delves into discussing the vulnerability and discomfort of heartache. As the self-produced track, ‘Where Do We Go From Here’ is a whirlwind of sizzling, punching the air, predatory rock ’n’ roll.

Britain’s biggest rock ‘n’ roll club night, This Feeling, identified the band as a rising name, as have Fred Perry Subculture who featured the band on their ‘Big in 2018’.
