declan mckenna performs british bombs and you better believe live

WATCH: Declan Mckenna releases live performances of ‘British Bombs’ and ‘You Better Believe!!!’

Following the release of a live studio performance of Rapture this week, Declan McKenna shares two more; ‘You Better Believe!!!’ and ‘British Bombs’.

The three videos, filmed in partnership with Vevo, showcase Declan’s McCartney-esque melodies, with simple instrumentation and addictive hooks at their finest.

‘You Better Believe!!!’ is one of the most energetic performances of the three with its funky beats, piano melodies and riff solos. Declan is clad in a white suit to match the rest of the band’s outfits.

‘British Bombs’, released in 2019, sees Declan lose the all-white suit to wear a camo jacket to highlight the song’s precedence of the British military using bombs on Yemen.

‘Rapture’ (watch his live performance here) and ‘You Better Believe!!!’ comes off of McKenna’s new album Zeros, the first since his critically acclaimed debut, What Do You Think About The Car? in 2017.

On the album, Declan McKenna said: “In terms of my artistic development, it feels a major step on from my first record.

“With this album, if I’m performing as a character, I wanted it to give it everything- all the artists that I love like Dylan, Nick Cave or Bowie, are great storytellers because they give their characters really intense, sometimes strange voices.”

All three tracks are now streaming on all platforms. Keep up with exclusive content from artists all over the world on YouTube.com/Vevo.
