WOOZE is the nations new craze

WOOZE

New to the block is Korean and British duo WOOZE who return with their second single ‘Party Without Ya’.

The much-hyped outfit have seriously hit the ground running in the UK with their funky electronic pop beats. Their debut track, ‘Hello Can You Go’ saw support flooding in from radio giants BBC Radio 1, Radio X and Triple J.

The track and its accompanying, Jumanji inspired visual, filmed in Seoul and directed and edited by K Pop director Nuri Jeong. The video offers a further intriguing glimpse into WOOZE’s surreal world and the hugely eclectic range of influences evident in their music.

Created by Theo Spark and Jamie She, WOOZE is a rough phonetic translation of ‘space’ in Korean (우주). Describing themselves as Pansori for the 21st Century, a traditional Korean music genre that consists of a drummer and singer storytelling through music, WOOZE are here to excite, baffle and entertain.
