The Shook spark explosive blues-infused garage rock

Deep in the heart of Michigan, indie rock outfit The Shook are spicing up rock and roll one EP at a time.

The quartet are the definition of an independent artist, putting in all of the groundwork for their blues-infused garage rock

Comprising of vocalist Andrew Newville, guitarist Ben Stephenson, bassist Derek Keller and drummer Brandon Billings, The Shook are shaking things up with influences from psych-rock to pop and everything in between.

The Shook’s latest EP ‘Hermetic Revelry’ features jaw-dropping riffs filled with classic rock energy. Across the four tracks; ‘Easy, Return of the Sun, Dreamers Disease and Fire’  a rumbling bassline and punchy vocals are centre stage with an explosive production behind them.

Following up on their debut EP Retrograde, the band were prompted to release it when their debut show was put on hold as Covid-19 forced them to put the live circuit on hold and focus on writing new material.

As the guys do everything themselves, they had the ability to do it at their own pace, making sure they were ready to get back to action stations in no time.

‘Hermetic Revelry’ is a new step forward for an ever-evolving garage band that has a lot still to explore.
