The Manatees premiere new music video for ‘Know You’

Southampton’s rising indie rockers The Manatees have just premiered their new music video for single ‘Know You’ on YouTube.

With guitar music steadily on the rise for a big comeback, the South Coast trio are releasing successful release after another.

‘Know You’ was released last month and follows on from ‘Have It All,’ which featured on Sky Sports Soccer AM, Steve Lamacq’s BBC 6Music show, and ‘Guilty Pleasure’ and ‘Tongue Tied’ so far this year.

The Manatees are carving out their own brand of contemporary rock music. ‘Know You’ exemplifies this, amalgamating a hip-hop inspired beat with shimmering guitar riffs and transcendent vocals.

The band are still fine-tuning their sound, but ‘Know You’ will do nothing but increase the excitement around this young indie outfit as they get bigger and better with every release.

Speaking about the track, the band said: “‘Know You’ reveals a side to our music that hasn’t been shown before and we believe it’s another big step up in our songwriting.

“It’s dark, desperate and explores a fanciful desire for romance.”

As well as the release, The Manatees will be playing a couple of socially distanced shows (as things stand). Check out the dates below

November 27 – The 1865, Southampton (live and socially distanced)
April 10, 2021 – Omeara, London (supporting Neon Waltz)
April 28, 2021 – The Sunflower Lounge, Birmingham
May 2, 2021 – Teddy Rocks Festival
