The Lutras return with fierce rock track ‘Vari’

The Lutras

After the success of their first single, ‘Run & Hide’, Scottish four-piece The Lutras have returned with not one, but two new tracks.

Having already teased their audiences with ‘Times We Had’, a piano demo of their much-loved track, the group have smashed it out of the park with ‘Vari’.

‘Vari’ is a product of the band’s mutual love of both modern and 60s and 70s rock and roll. It is primal and head-banging inducing and leaves you aching for more when it is finished. It was produced by Bruce Rintoul (Twin Atlantic, Fatherson) and draws on feelings of infatuation.

Speaking about the track, bassist and songwriter Danny Heron explained the song is for “the hopeless romantics and daydreamers. For the people who lust for longing, love and affection. Put that in yer’ pipe, Mozart”.

Armed with fierce new music, The Lutras are about to set off on a tour across the UK with This Feeling. After their show with ICM and The Gallery’s at The Finsbury earlier this year, we can guarantee their live show is not one to be missed.
